Day 11 A day off!!

Well today we have taken a day out, after 2500 km of riding from 3 degrees to over 30 degrees, taurential, fog and glaring sunshine we thought we should rest, and rest we have.

A little walk along by the River and then back to Chez Pierre.

I am sat on the terrace in the afternoon sun typing this with an uninterrupted view of the mountains and the sound of the river in the background. A little time for quite contemplation and the first time me and ford have been apart in 11 days, he's trying to match the red houses of morocco by the pool!!

A little bit of maintenance on the bike his morning , adjust chain tension and oil, top up oil , check tyre pressures and that's it!!!

Even the Card had a day off by the pool!

Updated....

Ian has now retired to the room with bottom issues and I am left on the terrace reading the book of routes, and I have discover'd that yesterday we completed (purely by chance) the second hardest route in a book of 50, as Chris Scott says, "not for the faint hearted or beginner, many will get lost or give up" so I can now forgive ian for the drop and sit here with a smile on my face ready to tackle the world tomorrow or at least the Sahara desert on Sunday!!!
